Looking to add spacers. Should front and back be same size or should the front be 1/2 shorter?

I run 26x9 tires on the front and 26x12 rears on 12x7 wheels. For spacers I run 1 inch on the front and 1 1/2 on the rear. My tire width is just about perfect and even.
