Yes saw one set the dealer had installed on one of his inventory Rhinos. Am having a set put on my Rhino tomorrow (Thursday) and will have it out at the Black Hills UTV Rally this weekend. Worked out well for me as I was planning on putting on some after market ones on so I'm well pleased. They probably wouldn't do for the real hard core guys or racers but should do fine for me at least for awhile.

I just heard about this today, a friend called me and said yamaha is giving doors away for people that own a 04-07 rhino. That really sucks cause I spent 600 bucks for doors already. anybody interested in a set of gently used j-strong doors?? (lol)
Hillbilly's do it in the mudd!!!!:)

I got the letter in the mail yesterday about the free doors. I went to my dealer and picked up some oil for my first oil change, and I asked him if this was true. He said Yamaha was giving them away because their had been reports of people being thrown out of the cab during rollovers. He asked me for my name ahome phone # so I could be put on the waiting list for my doors. Their were two people there already getting their doors put on. They are a nice door. And thier FREE!!

Took my Rhino in this past Tuesday to Escape Motor Sports in Provo for the initial 20 hour service and the UPS truck was just dropping off their first shipment of doors. They went ahead and installed them on my machine even though I didn't buy it there. When I picked it up, the service manager said the owner chewed his @$$ because they only had enough doors to do what machines were in their current inventory and they can't sell them without the upgrade. Made me feel bad for just a minute, but I got over it...
They did a real good job and I'm pleased with the doors. Best part is, they were free!

So much for selling leg minders anymore.... asked my dealer about them Wednesday but hadn't seen them yet. Get down on the paiute trail in Marysvale and there are two installed down here. The lines work well with the original design, I am surprised with the design and fairly simple install, no instructions included.
Are we camping yet?

Got to see the free doors this weekend out at the dunes installed on gotsands rhino who is a forum member. I actually liked them! For those of you needing instructions just click the link above if you install them yourself. FYI- No need to cut the big hole in the side like the instructions say.

Checked them out at Escape. They will not allow me to install myself! They said Yamaha won't allow it. They have non-removable bolts, punch a hole in the side (they did an ugly job on the set I saw) and 2 holes throught the frame. Not sure I want them yet, and I don't think I want the dealer to install them. I am interested in the handle though!

Just got the doors today. They're OK IMO, but no substitute for a set of bars. I think they will keep some of the mud off or maybe even snow for those that plow. I'll get some pics up soon...after my rims and tires come in later this week.
...one more damn toy to mod. :-)
