Hello,
how are you? I have a question for you all I'll try to make his court and that everybody understands my problem. My problem is that I bought a Polaris RZR `S 2009 and rub my belt in my belt cover. firstly the belt is new and I do all the maintenance on my primary and secondary clutch (clean), no spring was broken and nothing was damaged. Secondly it rubbing when I released the gas. (ex: I drive 15 km \ h or more and when I loose the gas hints the belt will rub up and down the middle belt cover as if it would be too lousse and yes the belt is good it comes from Polaris.) I understand anything, it seems that we forgot to make the greatest coverage of the belt. I thought I put a belt from Polaris RZR 2009 and not a model of a `S`. if someone could help me it would be really cool.
thank you and good day
sorry for my English, I am French

In 2009, the RZR-s runs a different belt then the standard RZR so if you did put the wrong belt on, it could rub inside the cover. I do have a few questions though to better nail this down an answere if you did install the proper belt. Is the rubbing on the cover in between the primary and secondary clutch :?: Is the primary clutch showing the rubbing on the cover :?: Or is the secondary clutch showing the rubbing on the cover :?: ......

I had the same question Dale until I re-read his post. "will rub up and down the middle belt cover as if it would be too lousse". I am assuming it is the wrong belt and flopping when Primary open and secondary closed (idle) as you suggest.

I would most likely would say that was the problem. The reason I asked for more detail is because with mine I had an issue with the primary clutch extending out a little farther due to the washer under the primary retaining bolt had wore into the clutch housing just a little bit and it started rubbing on the cover. The factory washer really needs to be a little wider and replacing it with one fixed the problem. It was caused by the clutch hammering the stop washer and it really does not have that much meat or surface area against the clutch housing.....
