I just purchased a 2010 Polaris Crew LE. I want to make it street legal. What is the easiest/best way to upgrade to dual beam headlights? I live in Michigan and that is a street legal requirement here. Thanks in advance for your help with my question.

Not to take away anything from your post. However I am in Texas and i was wondering how this street legal thing works?
We make regular trips to the coast and would love to be able to drive these up and down the beach. ....no not on the doons jsut down the beach where we drive our trucks.
Since most or all of the beaches in texas you are not allowed any sort of ATV/UTV on them. does making them street legal fix this issue? Then what buy one of the kits from ebay install it and go get an inspection and license plate?
Has anyone done this?

Each state has its own rules and regualtions regarding UTV's being licensed as street legal. I suggest you check with the licensing bureau of whatever state(s) you're interested in operating your vehicles in. I don't know whether or not licensed/ORV motor vehicles are permitted to drive on any of our Michigan beaches, but whatever rules apply to them would apply to my Polaris Crew as well.
I've found turn signal kits, mirrors, etc. on e-bay, but have not found anything to address my need to upgrade to dual beam headlights. I really need help with this. I'm "considering" offering a $25.00 reward to the first person who provides a suggestion I can actually implement. I have to give more thought, however, about how I would be able to do this, i.e., maybe through a PayPal transfer. Anyway, thanks for your input. If you have any workable suggestions, please let me know.

The new 2011 Rangers have a dual headlight with high and low beam, might be just changing out the bulb to dual element and changing out the headlight rocker switch to a off high and low beam I asked my dealer when I was in there to change my 2010 over to that setp and he said it would work

The 2010 Polaris Ranger Crew headlight sockets have 2 wires, wheras the 2011 headligh sockets have 3 wires. After an extensive on-line search, the Polaris mechanic and I are thinking I'd have to buy the entire wiring harness, as Polaris doesn't seem to sell just the headlight sockets. Each headlight assembly w/ socket (sold only as a unit) priced out at $55.00, and the new rocker panel switch was around $35.00. I didn't ask the mechanic to price out a whole new harness, but I can only imagine that buying one of those too would cost mucho dinero (much money). I got hold of the Sherrif who does the final street legal approval in my county. He said I can add another set of lights and focus them per state criteria in order to meet the dual beam mandate. That's probably what I'll end up doing. Thanks for posting though. Getting input from others is always welcomed by me!

It is funny that 2004 till 2008 have high low beams and 2011 have high low beams but not the 2010 models. it would not be very hard to run a new three wire wiring circuit or just add the third wire and install new bulbs and a new 3 position switch. personally I think you and your dealer are over thinking on what needs to be done by installing a new harness, That is really not needed at all. I am also sure that you could install one of the new HID kits with a few minor upgrades to accomplish the same thing as well  .

If you car use one bulb to give both High and Low beams, that means your current bulb have two filaments, or we called it
Dual Beam Bulb; If you need your high beam to work properly, then you should buy a Bi-Xenon HID(our model bulb-3) which gives
you both High and Low in Xenon.
This high beam will work correctly and will point where you tell it to. Bi-Xenon bulbs usually come with 3 wires per bulb.
They also come with a control unit that handles the low vs high beam.Bi-Xenon bulbs can move, so you can have one bulb to
give you High and Low. http://www.vvme.com/hid-conversion-kits … 44_46.html

Pardon me for the late response and naiveté, but I wasn't entirely sure what made a motorcycle, scooter, etc. street legal. I sincerely appreciate the input from you folks. If you're wondering why I'm on here so late, thanks Google.
