Hey there, I am in the market for buying a Rzr S. There are not many around my area for sale used, and I cant afford brand new. I have found a 2009 Polaris Rzr S with 1600 miles on it. It has many expensive extras, like Pro Armour Aluminum doors, a mp3 stereo with speakers and amp. A full polaris windshield that pops on and off easily, hard top roof and back window. It also has a clutch kit in the machine and an SLP intake. I like the machine and is def. in my price range for $9800. But I am very nervous about purchasing a 09 Rzr S seeing that this is the first year of the S model. Is there any 2009 Polaris Rzr S owners out there that can give me you opinions and info on these machines ? ANYTHING will be useful and helpful. Thanks

Since no one else is going to answer your question, I will try  . I do not think you will have any issues with your 09 RZR's. It is more hopped up then the standard one and there has not been many issues with it. The most problematic RZR models were the standard 2007 models.
I would PM Badley and see if he can give you some more input. Welcome to the forum .......

There is really not that much to worry about that is different on the S. Any problems found on the standard are found on the S year to year. As long as the machine is in good condition it sounds like a good buy. I would check the bottom of the machine for damage. A lot of people forget to do that. 1600 miles is not that many. Find out if they have and any waranty claims on it. Good luck!
