PowerSports Adventures filmed the prototypes of the Arctic Cat WildCat prior to the WildCat demo rides. We took these machines out and put them through their paces. Wow! We got extreme. GREAT RIDE! The episode will air next month on PowerSports Adventures. http://www.powersportsadventures.com
You can demo a WildCat too! Tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 29th) is your chance at The Little Sahara Sand Dunes just west of Nephi, Utah.
Arctic Cat is set up at Sand Mountain and will be offering demo rides all day. Don't miss this chance. You will have the ride of your life!
Plus, if you have never been to Little Sahara, check it out. This is an excellent place to go and ride. The BLM has it set up with all the facilities a motorsports enthusiast needs for a great time.
Check out the highlight reel from the day: WildCats at Little Sahara

Hurry and drive one before they are all broken!!!
I was out there today, and of the 7 units they brought, only 4 were still running by the end of the day...
I didn't see the first one, but I hear it broke Friday and was already in the trailer.
One had a grenaded transmission, the belt cover was off and they loaded it on the truck before the crowd arrived this morning.
Another one broke an axle mid morning and I hear it tore up the hub during a test ride. (See picture of it's trip back to the trailer)
They were only letting people drive them with a Arctic Cat employees sitting next to the driver on a set driving route, so it's not like people were throwing them off 50' jumps and breaking them.
The Wildcat is an awesome concept, but they sure have allot of work to do before they are reliable.

Did Shannon cancel his order?

I highly doubt it.
I believe they will get the bugs worked out. After all, look at the gen 1 RZR, vs the gen 3 that came out 8 months later.
The overall platform is light years ahead of where the RZR began life.
There are new platform glitches to be worked through, but when they are this thing will be every bit as good as the XP IMHO.
I think he will wait till they have been out for a few months, than pull the trigger.

[font=Arial Black:edab78a00d]I don't know how you can say that. We rode those WildCats, not like rentals, like they were stolen!
Don't believe me? See how high those Cats can jump and how fast they come through the chatter bumps!

Its too bad they came up so short in the horsepower department. Arctic Cat is 20 hp less than they claimed they were going to be with the marketing hype. If they would have came through with the 95 hp people were expecting we might have been looking at a new best in class sport side by side. As it is now, the Wildcat wont be the fastest, and whether it is best in suspension or handling will be open for debate.
