Now, I am just wondering if they ever returned to Missouri with that big ol smile there at the end. lol
Yep hope to meet alot of good folks.
My wife and I are really excited about the trip.
I hope I picked out all the good rides for the beginner. I ride all the time but have not been on huge rocks or sand much. I chose the following for the four days.
Wednesday - Chicken Corners
Thursday - Kane Creek
Friday - Porcupine Rim
Saturday - Picture Frame Arch

If you have never been to Moab you really need to do at least one slick rock trail. Finn's & Things is pretty easy if you have ridden a side by side much at all. Hell's Revenge is a little more challenging but very doable for a first timer with all the bypass's on the more difficult parts.

So I wonder, because I have already signed up for those trails, if I might be able to change any of those once I get out there?

Yes you can change your trail selections at the Rally. You are NOT locked into a trail when you register.

I agree - try Fins-n-Things. And then you might be up for Hells Revenge. There are great guides and people willing to help get you through safely. What machine are you driving? I have seen stock machines take on some of the hardest trails and do very good.

Well I have a Polaris 800XP I am looking to get the set of 28" ITP Bajacross Tires. I am getting ready to install the UHMW to the bottom of the machine. I am having the roll case extended to the bed. I will remove the windshield when we get ready in April. I figured there would be no reason to bust out a glass if something was to happen. The machine is a little boxey so not sure how well it will do.

I have a question? I am guessing I will not need a whip flag at the rally on the rocks. Is this only if you area in the dunes?

Nope, Just for the dunes...

Lots of folks ride with windows, Leave it as sometimes the weather can change quickly... Guides always help if you are in a spot you don't like and need assistance.

Well I just dont know what to expect. I am still trying to find me a trailer to purchase to haul the thing. I wanted a closed trailer but maybe I will just purchase a open one for now see how we like doing this and go from there. I just purchased a Trakker winch today I am trying to get it installed our local polaris dealer is trying to find me a mounting bracket I could make one but figured it would be much better if I could just get one that was already to go. I may just go by there and take me a few measurements off of theirs and build. I can not belive they cant find it in their parts anywhere go figure. The guy is really nice and trying but no luck on finding it in their system.
How many people is at the rally most of the time?
