I found this forum while searching out info on side by sides. I thought I had it all figured out what I was going to get. But the more I search the more confused I become. I am a farmer and I need to find a side by side to use on my farm. The main purpose of my side by side will be doing feeding chores, particularly when my daughters have to do it when my job works me late. So it needs to be simple to operate and easy to use. I have eliminated diesels from my list mainly from the extra effort to start them in the winter time. This SXS will be ran for an hour or less a day doing chores and part of that will be idling. The chores it will be doing will be hauling 5 gal buckets of feed, hauling hay and straw, and hauling fence supplies. Some other chores might be using a spot sprayer, checking fields and it might get called on to move some empty wagons around the farmstead on occasion. I don't need one to run 100 MPH but I do want one with enough suspension that it doesn't feel like we are riding in a wooden wagon. I prefer liquid cooled for the start and stopping and idling and hauling loads. I prefer something with color other than camo or green. For what I am doing the bigger the bed the better. I prefer a bench seat over the bucket seats. I know some make "contoured" seats for 2 passenger and so long as it has foam padding in between so child could ride I am OK with that too. So, what do you guys suggest? I live in between a couple decent sized towns and only 1.5 hours from two large towns so dealers are everywhere. Any help in my search would be very much appreciated.

Sounds like a Polaris Ranger is what you need.
