Re: Suspension: long arm or stock?

Does anyone make a suspension kit that improves the Prowler's handling? I have only seen OEM replacements shocks, which makes sense since the stock units aren't the greatest. Is a long arm set up the way to go?

Re: Suspension: long arm or stock?

Try ATVonics.com we build a solid billet CNC machined long-travel suspension that is light weight and extreamly strong. It's +4 inches wider and has 14+ inches of  wheel travel.

This suspension uses delrin bushings and Uniballs at the wheels instead of heim joints, the latest technology just like a desert racing trophy trucks.

With a suspension like this you can absorb whoops and cruse at full speed where never could before, the stability is awesome in corners, sidehilling or going through twisted ditches.

It's amazing the diference a suspension system makes for a UTV. It's also designed to use most any shock combination, KING, FOX, ELKA, Walker......

Re: Suspension: long arm or stock?

Just a question, how much will it cost to customize a whole set?

Re: Suspension: long arm or stock?

A complete system cost is hard to pin down because it depends on so many choices.

Our solid billet A-Arms are around 3k, that includes all bushings sperical bearings, tie rods and extensions, brake lines etc. Their on the high end side, their made extreamly strong yet light weight and the Unibal joint is rebuildable. Made for the punsihments of off-road racing.

Shocks are a personal choice, that range from 275 to 1500 per shock. Shock choice should be determined by your needs.

Axles are another personal choice, on some models you can just replace the axle bar and run stock cv's, I personally like Turner axles, their expensive , but they are the best on the market (custom USA Built).
