Re: rhino exhaust--which one

So whats the low down on exhaust? has any body done a shoot out for different exhaust systems single or dual. I have heard that single after market exhaust are not worth putting on unless you just want it to sound better, with not much hp gain. looks like every one is going to a dual system. but they go for around 700-1000 thats a pretty heavy investment, for something you pretty much know nothing about. everyone says mine is the best. looney tunes, two bros, lrd, and so on. so well ,lets get this out in the open. which works and which does'nt. I dont want to go crazy -exhaust, cdi,airfiter-intake, is about it. :?:

you won't be dissapointed either, now if you want your rhino to haul the mail, get his intake and carb. My rhino beats guys with 686 kits and it's stock except for his kit.

You can buy it with a supertrapp, not as quiet as stock, but alot less than without. Go buy and talk to ron, you'll be convinced after talking to him.

Re: rhino exhaust--which one

Here is a pic and a bit of info on the woods pipe.

Rhino_Exhaust_sm.jpg

High performance exhaust is designed and built in-house, utilizing a true reverse cone megaphone that increases power throughout the entire rev range, excelling in midrange and top end horsepower, with a polished Cermichrome finish for good looks and durability. Supertrapp spark arrestor available on request with no loss of horsepower in testing.

And here is the carb kit max powers is talking about.

Rhino_Carburetor_kit_sm.jpg

The FreeFlow carburetor kit consists of a specially modified and jetted Mikuni TM45 flat slide smooth bore carburetor, using the factory choke cable, a new throttle cable, plus the latest K&N XStream filter with built in velocity stack

Re: rhino exhaust--which one

Can someone tell me how many dB the Woods pipe makes?  It needs to be less than, or equal to, a maximum of 99 dB in order for me to race the WORCS races.  It does not need a spark arrestor for WORCS, but will need one for USRA races. Thanks.

Re: rhino exhaust--which one

without the supertrapp, it is louder than 99db, I'm sure.
I have a trapp on backorder and won't know the difference till it gets here.

Re: rhino exhaust--which one

Someone said I could get a discount on a woods exhaust for being a side by side member.  Can someone hook me up?  I have an 07 rhino 660 and looking for more snap.  I need to throw a little mud when I hit the gas. May need a clutch kit also?

Re: rhino exhaust--which one

I am running a trinity clutch sheave, a dynatec cdi ,a yoshimura dual exhaust, and a dynajet. I have huge bottomend and great top speed. I am not saying this is the only way to go but it worked for me      1185350937524609.jpg..

Re: rhino exhaust--which one

I ended up going with the Yoshimura RS-5 slip on exhaust, and porting the stock header.  The Rhino runs fantastic, seems to definitely have more get up and go, and isn't too excessively loud (it passes the 96 dB sound test).  And it only cost $300, instead of a months pay like some of the dual systems do.
