Re: Baby seat in a Ranger??

My wife and I are expecting, and will be using a 2008 Ranger XP in a small village as our only means of transport (back and forth for errands, etc, not really in traffic/busy roads).

Are the seats compatible with a standard size baby/infant car seat? (for when my wife is driving alone with baby).

Has anyone tried doing this?

We don't have the Ranger yet, and will be getting a car seat before we have the Ranger.

Thanks for any advice!

Re: Baby seat in a Ranger??

We have put a booster car seat in our Ranger Crew.  the seat belts are just like you would find in a car, so if you can put it in a car you can put it in a Ranger.  Polaris does not recommend this.  When we take our son out we just ride on the the dirt roads.  There is not a lot of protection if you get hit or roll it.  I would not put a newborn in it.  sidexsides are great for the family spending time together.  We have 5 kids and  four 4 wheelers and they all want to ride in the ranger.  My wife loves to drive it.
