Re: CDI

I recently installed a CDI I bought from Hunter Works. I highly recommend this mod for anyone wanting that increased response and power. It also fixed that starting issue with lots of prowlers. You can really tell a difference with throttle response, increased torque and all around power.

Re: CDI

Hunterworks.com  for $189 with free shipping. The guy who runs the website does testing on his performance parts, after talking with him I also found out that Dynatek is the only company that makes a CDI for the prowler. So all of the CDI's on Black Magic Racing, Lioncart, etc. are all the same, they just sell theirs for $300-400.

Re: CDI

So what brand of CDI do you sell? How do your CDI's compare with Dynatek, speed and power wise.

Black Magic Powersports, but as of a few days ago, they are closing. Speedwerx is making quite a few go-fast goodies for AC now. I can vouch for Hunterworks being a good company to deal with. Todd, the owner is very much a UTV sport enthusiast and works to take care of his customers.

Re: CDI

I have the Dynatek for my Prowler, it did pick up a little power and a couple mph. I do have an issue that may or may not be related. It does not start as weel hot now. It s almost if my battery is low and I have to jump it. If I let it cool it starts fine. I lost my stock computer so I cannot go back to test it. If anyone has their stock one that they want to sell or trade for this Dynatek one, please email me.
