Re: Introduce Yourself!

Welcome Layne and WISCORNR (1 post wonder - ROFL). Layne, I am from Spanish Fork. I like 5 mile when it isn't too dusty, love AF Canyon, Little Sahara and Moab. You should hook up with us for some riding - watch the "Goin' Riding... Who's with Me?" threads.  big_smile

Re: Introduce Yourself!

Thanks for the welcome.   RZR will be delivered in July.   Until then I need to putt around in my GEO Tracker.   I live next to the mountains in Eastern Oregon, 9 hours from dunes.   Lots of trails and will post pics when I get the new toy.   In the mean time, I will sit back, and glean from all of the experience here.

Again, thanks for the welcome.   Bob

Re: Introduce Yourself!

Hi, we are Bob and Terry, and just joined the forum.  We rode in the second Moab UTV rally, where we learned about this forum.  We got our Prowler in July 2007, and we have been absolutely astounded by what it can do.  Moab took us to another level, and those somewhat snobbish  big_smile Rhino owners never had to doubt our machine!

These side by side machines rock, and we are anxious to continue to learn and experience them.

Re: Introduce Yourself!

Welcome Bob Nelson, latts55 and Bob and Terry! Sorry about the Prowler Bob and Terry...  lol   tongue  wink (trying to live up to the the somewhat snobbish label... did we meet at the Rally :?:   lol  ) Seriously, if you are in a side by side it is all good  8)

Re: Introduce Yourself!

You are quite right, Badley.  No problems!  We can take the ribbing, for sure.  It was good to meet a lot of great people at the rally.  Everyone was courteous, helpful, and kept their egos to themselves.  What a blast!

Re: Introduce Yourself!

Bob & Terry - I just noticed your sig. "barrel-racing mods"  lol  lol  lol  Glad you have a sense of humor about it! I have video... except for the actual impact. I had to watch with "my own eyes" and missed it with the camera  roll

Re: Introduce Yourself!

Sense of humor indeed!  About $1200 worth!  Any way, we were not the smartest crew in the arena; heck, we have a tough time guiding one another hitching a trailer to the truck!

Kind of glad you didn't get video, would hate to see that on the web!

Re: Introduce Yourself!

hey there....

like others, discovered this site from the UTV Rally website.   been here (Utah) now for five years but have accepted the fact that i will always be "newcomer" to Utahan's.  never had an atv or did any serious off roading until last year.  i'm old and not the sharpest knife in the drawer.....but love riding/playing.  drove down to ittle Sahara on Saturday and now my truck has the annual pass sticker on the windshield.   anyways.....figured i'd say my hello's and how-do's.   took a few pics down there and will give you a link to them.   last year, i did the first UTV Rally and it was also my very first REAL riding.   Metal Masher was a challenge but i'd do it again inna heart beat.  Looking at Acad's (Chris) pics, made me really wish i could have gone this year too.   so.....now i will become a lurker for a spell.  thanks to those posted where i might finf a light/signal kit.   can't wait to register the XP!

Re: Introduce Yourself!

Just hold on for a few more days Bud. I am researching a street legal kit for the side x sides. I have located a manufacture that says that theirs is a precut, no BS wire kit. It looks like its a couple hundred but has everything but DOT approved tires. I will keep everyone informed. big_smile
