Re: Prowler Side Fenders

Is anybody else having problems with damaging the side fenders on the Prowler? I have been out the last 2 weekends and damaged all 4 of them. I live in Alaska and we do alot of climbing with trees. Can't slow down when climbing and if I scrape past a tree I end up damaging the plastic fenders on the sides. I have seen the nerf bars but don't want to make it any wider than it already is.

Re: Prowler Side Fenders

I had a lot of trouble with plastic so my son-in-law took my prowler to the shop and we prefabed some metal rear fenders and welded them to the metal fender suports on the dump bed. Wally Jones - ADAMS COUNTY OH.

Re: Prowler Side Fenders

Thanks Wally- I was hoping there was an aftermarket available. I will probably do the same and end up making my own.

Re: Prowler Side Fenders

Ive busted a couple here in Tennessee....figure its the nature of the beast. I lived in North Pole AK a few years back...what part do you live in.....I know AK is a little different on how things react to the enviroment. Did you break yours in hunting season or the winter? I personally think its the size thats the problem, especially if your use to riding 4 wheelers....let me know Dan

Re: Prowler Side Fenders

1 option you might check into is installing the factory fender flares to protect the body.
The part number for the kit is 1436-074. Your local dealer should be able to order them if he doesn't already have them in stock.
