i saw earlier in this forum that the 08 prowler comes with a winch bracket from the factory. does the 07 also come with one from the factory? what is all needed to mount a winch on a 07 xt prowler? thx

2008 was the first year they did this. I bought a winch and it came with a universal winch mount bracket included in the price. I also did a little cutting and was able to mount my switch in the center shift mount under the reverse override switch. Works great and I didn't have to buy that expensive Warn kit for the Prowler.

I bought my 4000lbs winch that came on a mount plate welded to a receiver.  Then wired up quick connects front and rear for the receiver locations.
