As some of you know I have been looking into hopping up the engine in my Rhino 660, like everyone else! How about some opinions on the Hot Rods brand 719 stroker crank and piston kit. That along with a better cam,and some head porting. I already have the exhaust, cdi and clutching covered. I am looking for a significant power increase but need it to still be reliable for daily use doing chores as well as trail running and mudding. Budget is a consideration and I am not game for a $4000 to $6000 motor build. I am looking for "average Joe" build up costs. Suggestions?

You will never be fast enough . Just like my days with ATV's you can do everything to it, strip everything that doesn't require it to to run,and someone will still beat you. I would recommend waiting a year or two for a higher cc machine to work with. The Rhino and a few others is to heavy and not built to be a race car but a more durable off-road vehicle.
Are we camping yet?

I think Max Powers 800CC Rotax swap was 7,000.
If you sell the Rhino engine for a few K you are in the ball park.
Probably a better bang for that kind of money than building the Rhino.

I think Redman makes a good point. That engines swap seems pretty sweet. Just not gonna be the easiest thing nor the fastest thing to do.
