Re: 27 or 28 inch tires on razor

I have a razor with a lift kit. I was wondering if I could put 28 inch Zilla tires with ITP SS112 rims on the machine without using spacers or should I go with 26" or 27" tires? The rims are 14"

Re: 27 or 28 inch tires on razor

i put a 3 inch tonys toys lift on my 08 2nd gen. rzr, put 28 inch swamplites with itp 212ss. they rubbed a little but took a heat gun, and heated the corner of the floor board and mashed it in worked great. hope this helps. check out tonys toys awesome stuff for a rzr at tonystoys.com

Re: 27 or 28 inch tires on razor

I put the 14" SS112 with Mudlite 27' XTR tires on it. With the 2 " lift kit I had to put the adjustable shocks at there lowest setting otherwise it would rub on the passenger side rear tire. Good info. for someone that is thinking of bigger tires.

Re: 27 or 28 inch tires on razor

on the rear, you can run a 10 inch wide tire. use a 1 inch wheel spacer and clear the motor mount just fine with plenty of room. however, it does make the machine a lot wider!!!

Are there any problems that could arise from using spacers? (wheel bearings, ball joints ,tie rod ends, etc.)

I've never used spacers, but I heard from some guys that it could cause future problems. I don't see how it could, thats just why I asked.
