Re: 20 hour maitenance

Can anyone share what the 20 hour maitenance consists of and what the typical cost is?

Also, does anyone know how to check the valves on a rzr?

Thx

wayyyyyyyy late reply here I know but I just gave it a oil change, checked the gear cases for correct fluid level and greased all the fittings. The manual tells you everything you need to do.  roll

If it's not fun why do it?

Re: 20 hour maitenance

I have always been over kill on the first break in service but I would change out all the fluids because of all the break in metals that get trapped in the oils and filter, This also gives you an idea on how things are working in. It is a little late to say this but when i picked up mine I checked everything the minute it came off the trailer and this save me a huge problem because Polaris did not put oil in the rear end, As for the valves they are not adjustable and need no maintenance. big_smile

Ranger Dale:

Thanks dude.......followed your advice on doing ALL fluids.  Spent $90 and half a day.  While spending 6 hours might be stupid compared to the $600 bill I would have gotten at the dealer, it was good for me to get really familiar with the machine.

Re: 20 hour maitenance

It's too easy to do it urself.  I did the big maintenance which would have cost $600.  Did it in 6 hours and bought $90 worth of fluids.
