WARNING ABOUT RENEGADE SEATS

[font=Courier New:9e5fe7afc0]This post is just to warn everyone about RENEGADE SEATS. I had heard about their RZR bench seat on the forums and gave them a call. I made the order on August 28 and my credit card was charged. I was so excited to get the seat, that I did a follow up call to check on the progress of the seat. I was told that it could be built in 5 days and would me shipped by FedEx, which would take another 5 days or so. After several calls were made and messages sent I was beginning to get worried and frustrated. Finally, I get ahold of Anna and she says she is so excited that my seat turned out great and FedEx was picking it up that day....So now, it is October 8th and NO seat. I have burnt up their phones each day and cannot get anyone to answer let alone return my phone calls. I have emailed and am exhausted. I have disputed it with my credit card company, but I thought I would pre-warn everyone that this company is shady!! [/font:9e5fe7afc0]

Well i am not sure where you are out of but I did hear about a major FedEx truck accident that killed the driver and it was pulling triples and all cargo was lost in the fire, I would check with FedEx on this. :!:

Renegade would have to provide him a tracking # in order for FedEx to assist. It sounds like they are just blowing him off.

that could very well be the case, there is just not enough info in his post if they did or did not ship since he mentions no tracking number. i wished he would have posted the company's info so we could put pressure on them as well if this is true. I will send an e-mail on this issue to pressure them, But will not do it till I have more info on this, :!:

No, this has nothing to do with FedEx, the seat has never been made much less shipped. The girl that I ordered the seat from said that she would email me with the tracking info once the seat was finished. The one and only time she returned an email (three weeks after the order was placed) she said that they had just got the materials they needed and that she would call me the next day to let me know the progress. That has never happened and I along with my wife have continously called and left messages and cannot get a response back. I have sent an email to the Phenix BBB in hopes of preventing this from happening to others. Those seats aren't cheap ($650)and hopefully I can recover this money through a cc dispute. I used to purchase from MTM back east and know they often put you in voice mail and most of the time resolve the issue without contacting the customer back, not the best way of handling the issue. I would try and find a e-mail address and talk to them that way. Anymore most people work best on e-mails to hide emotions.

It sounds like Zeb has tried all the proper approaches including e-mail and they are just not giving him what he paid for and blowing him off after paying them, Till I look into this a little further I would not recommend them from what I have read on his post :!: .

I am a dealer for them but haven't been able to sell anything every time I try to get a price for shipping to a customer I get I will get back to you in 10 minutes she never calls back they, I am going to try to get set up as a dealer with Twisted Stitch there bench looks much better than Renegades too..

I purchased renegade seats from Anna a few years ago and went through the same thing. She first sent me four seats but two were wrong. it took me almost a year to get the right ones.. I to was told that they were made and sent out only to find out that they weren't even built. this went on for months with calls to Anna almost daily. I even talked to her brother that gave me the same story. He even thought he had put me on hold and I heard him say "I told you to tell him I wasn't in and don't put him through to me any more" I would have to recomend never to buy from this company. There seats are nice but it isn't worth the hassle.

Maybe I was lucky but my rear ranger seat shipped right out and was a perfect match and fit.

Zeb, We are located in Phoenix and are in the same situation as you. However, we paid cash by Anna's request, a big mistake on our part as it appears now. We also have not received our seats from Renegade either and we ordered ours back in June. We may need to take this to court and would like to maybe get a statement from you if needed. Please let us know if you would willing to help.
