isnt the polaris winch a renamed warn winch? at least that is how they came last year.

I looked into many winches for my Rhino. After all the research I tried the Venom 3000 for under 200.00 with mount. I WAS IMPRESSED. It held and pulled the rhino easily unless you had 40-50 ft. of cable on the spool. I burned up the contactor after 2 years of plowing snow and normal winching. Venom replaced the contactor and I upgraded to the 4500 lb. for under 180.00. Both winches operate perfectly and I still haven't spent the price for a Warn. How often are you going to use it my primary question?

Until I get somewhere it doesn't work I'll stick with the cheapest one.

I am almost sure that the winch from polaris is made by warn industrys.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe they are no longer made by Warn. I was told they are a clone and the internals are not up to the Warn standard.

polaris winches are warn winches just under the polaris name. polaris have a few different features
