I broke my back at T7 mountain racing in 1971 and been paralyzed to date, yes 37 years in a wheelchair sort of!
Not in the wheelchair when using my Duramax, quads (750 brute and 660 grizzly), Conquest Argo, Cushman trakster, Takeuchi TL150, PWC, boat, raft, lawn mower and yes my Polaris Razor converted to center steer, seat and handcontrols.
Just finished modifying seat with arm rest to help with balance. I love my quads, but operator error has put me in several rollovers on rough trails. I have always wished for a quad with a bucket seat, steering wheel, longer wheelbase, lower center of gravity, roll bar, powerful motor and still be only 50" wide for my trails. Yep the Polaris Razor is the machine of choice.
All it needed to be a great stock machine was to locate the steering wheel and seat to the center of the machine. I'm a large Para with poor body balance and knew I wantd to be in the center of this machine. Well it took awhile, but it's 95% finished
and now wheelchair usable. Wishing I could figure out how to put the throttle and brake levers on the steering wheel like the old Honda Pilot. For now I'll just use my monarch hand controls. You would think by now, one of the large atv compainies would create an atv that the severely physically disabled could just purchase. This Razor is very close to being one, yes I know too much liability! We might be physically challenged, but the desire for speed and the great outdoor will always be in our heart.
