Re: rims,tires and a 3 lift kit

I have the same setup- itps,  lift, and xtrs, but mine are 27" tires. I don't know if the 28" tires will clear the motor mount on the passenger side. With the 27" tires I had to adjust the shocks to have enough room without touching the motor mount. Now I can put my fingers between the tire and mount. The 27" tires still look very cool.

Re: rims,tires and a 3 lift kit

Hey,
I just got an 09 RZR and just put 27/8/12 ITP 589"s up front and 27/11/12"s on the rear on Motorsport alloy rims with -47 offset.  The front tires rub a bit.  I was thinking of putting on the 3" lift kit from sidebysidesports.com but have heard that there have been problems of shaft binding and breakage.  I see that you have put this kit on.  Any problems or mechanical failures?

Thanks
