Re: New to the Forum

Have used quads for years but now awaiting my first side x side; that being a RZR.

Living on Lake Chapala in Mexico.  A town with very narrow steets made from small boulders and erroneously, I suspect, called cobblestones.  The RZR is not slated for heavy duty off-road experience but rather for navigating these streets where its easy to break a leg if you try to walk on them!

Lifestyle also includes a Hummer3 and an Harley RoadKing.

I'd like to see some pictures of this rugged terrain you described too.

Re: New to the Forum

Well you can tell I'm too stupid to even get this intro into the right place.  So, as you can imagine, posting pictures is not in my repetoire.

HOWEVER, here's some photos of the area.

If you click on the photo under the donkey you can see the cobblestones.  But they really don't give a true picture of how dangerous it is to walk on them.

Re: New to the Forum

Well I think its a cool place but some may argue its were older gringos go to die.   There are about 10,000 American and Canadian retirees here amid another 20,000 Mexicans.   The weather average is 75 degrees year round.

My degree is in Criminal Law with a background as a police officer and later employed in what is now termed forensic accounting.

Thanks for posting the pictures, appreciated.

Welcome Poncho. Thanks for the photos - looks like a nice place. Bet the burro will haul more wood than the RZR smile  (but not the Rhino  tongue  )   P.S. How comfortable is your couch? wink
