HEY EVERYBODY JUST JOINED AND I AM ALSO HAVING TROUBLE WITH NOISE IN MY REAR END OF MY RANGER. I BOUGHT USED FROM A DEALER SAID SOUND WAS NORMAL BUT IT IS NOT ITS VERY LOUD. IT HAS A ROOF KIT AND WINDSHIELD SEEMS TO MAKE IT LOUDER,HOW CAN I QUIET IT DOWN IT IS A 2007 POLARIS RANGER XP.        THANKS ALOT V.J.

A buddy of mine has the same thing. It turned out on his to be the emergency brake. His had worn out and some how managed to wear out a rivet and it was rubbing. We went all over that thing in both axles and all around the rear end. Then I had him raise the bed and drive while I crawled back to listen, I do not recommend this diagnostic procedure for the inexperienced.
So check that first. It may not sound like a brake noise, but it turned out to be.


The Kennedy's and their cars have killed more people then my guns.
