rhino 700 cutting out

hi every one
i have a rhino 700 and when u are going along the R light comes on and at the same time
the motor will cut out i have replaced the reverse switch and did not help any one
have this problem and any one know how to fix it?

Sounds like Yamaha still haven't started insulating the green wire and a better connector going over the top of the engine.
I finally did it and have never had the issue again with my 06 660.

did u just reroute the wire or did u just a better wire?

The bullet connector corrodes and the wire gets weak. I trimmed it near the connector and put two 12" pieces of shrink tube over it. I haven't had any further issues since.

hey guys just to let all out there know that I grounded out the green reverse switch wire
and it stopped the cutting out thanks for the help
