Re: 2010 Yamaha Rhino

Feb. 10th 12pm EST - Yamaha product launch

http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/launch/trailer.aspx

Lots of rumors out there about changes. Here's hoping it is a Sport model that will compete with the RZR and the XTZ. If Yamaha falls short (and Can Am) I will be joining the "Dark Side"
Thanks for the heads up Ryan (Fasttrax)

Re: 2010 Yamaha Rhino

I wouldn't doubt it's a 4 seat Rhino, with bed.  wink You have to look at all the Rhino's out there and probably 70% + has a four seat system, huge $$ loss to Yamaha.

Add some width to limit the idiots who roll them and sue, you now have a machine that Yamaha can regain it's sales lead.

BUT...

Wouldn't it be nice to see a larger cc engine with a lighter frame and long travel?

Re: 2010 Yamaha Rhino

I look forward to every product launch from all the manuf not only for side x sides but on quads and sleds too.  big_smile  Most of the time I am a bit dissapointed as I set my hopes up way to high. This year I have a hunch that Yamaha has something new to be revieled.  Time will tell....

Re: 2010 Yamaha Rhino

Don't get your hopes up.  It's going to be something really low to the ground and really wide so Ryan doesn't roll it.  With any luck, it will have a 1000cc engine so we can take it to Larry Millers park and race it.  You guys are going to be following me to the Dark Side.  However, if Yamaha does something really neat, I'll have to reconsider my RZR S purchase...due in March.

Re: 2010 Yamaha Rhino

A few points to ponder.... from a source....

4 seater, power steering, multiple color options, multiple cage options, different design, bigger motor. That is for the normal rhino. As for the new sport rhino... Completly redesigned, different name, big motor, long travel, light weight, pimp wheels, HID lighting, removable doors, digital gages, to name a few things. As you can see from the pics some of the things "could be" true for the normal rhino. As for the new sport rhino.. who knows could all be a bunch of bs.
