i've tried many things on my Rhino so far. I have an Edelbrock carb. First trip out the cable snapped. And i don't notice a difference in performance. Maybe it's less reliable? Was thinking of putting a stock carb back on and maybe rejetting it. I also have a dynatek cdi, k&N air filter and stock exhaust.

edelbrock had a problem with the first cables doing that, contact them and they will send you a motionpro replacement. Then, put that piece of crap up for sale and get a 45mil mikuni

is the mikuni the way to go? I've heard several bad things about the edelbrock. Besides the cable issue, it's worked fine so far. I was expecting more performance, but it feels the same as stock. Then i've heard the stock carb is the way to go once you rejet it. What's the trick about the mikuni carbs. How do they work? Can you really notice a difference? Easy to tune?

Easy to tune and performance gains. Go with a 45mil mikuni or a lecrtron. Get rid of the edelcrock, nothing but trouble.

Umm o.k lets see
stock carb---42 mil runs great with a little jetting
EDELCROCK--40 mil--going smaller is better???? they take a long time to get them right?? cost way to much for less performance.
Never saw anything worth while from the edelcrock, I blew through 3 exhausts before I put the 45 on. My rhino hauls ass now.
No 40 mil edelcrock is going to keep up with me.

I actually stood up for those stupid carbs when I had it to, the guy at the proshop, told me they trash all the edelcrocks that come in, and I was like, oh this guy is trying to sell me a new carb. But guess what, he was exactly right.

Has anybody used an FCR 41mm carb on their 660 Rhino? If so how did it work?
