I just purchased the eagle eye HID conversion kit that fits into the stock set up. My question is where is the best to place/mount the ballast and all the extra wiring? The directions don't suggest anything. Thanks.

i mounted mone on the rails around the intake.

I have the '07 so the intake in not under the hood, but I know the location. Did you use the brackets that came with the kit?

Most mount them on the frame going over the top of the radiator. Very clean install and use wire taps so you can go back to stock easily if you ever want to.
Are we camping yet?

ya i used the mounts on each side on my 09 it has a hole so i used it and drilled and tapped the other one. mine are bts but should be close to the same.
