Re: Has anybody gotten theirs yet?

I think the range on fuel is going to be an issue.  I need to check my milage, but I think you can only go about 70 miles on a tank.

Re: Has anybody gotten theirs yet?

How about the tires? Would paddles have been any better? Or just leave well enough alone?

Thanks

I got mine June 1st. I have taken it out twice and I love it. Even the wife loves it. Can't wait to get some goodies for it.

Thats awesome! Keep us updated on what you do with them as for as mods and stuff go. A ride report would be great too!

I called my local dealer (small dealer) just to see what the wait is on them and his list is 19 people strong to get one...

Re: Has anybody gotten theirs yet?

Thanks for the feedback guys - lets see some photos! Almost put my money down (I would have been first in line), but decided on the Rhino. Have contemplated buying a RZR also  lol  Local dealer here has 12 pre-sold, but are hoping to have them filled and a few for the showroom by August. I got a "peep" at one they were holding from a customer  8)

Re: Has anybody gotten theirs yet?

I think the guys who have an RZR now are lucky.  The local dealers are telling me it will be August or so until they recieve more, and they will be limited.

If you want a 4 seater, the Rhino is the only way to go.  The cargo area on the RZR is too high for seats, and you'd need to have really short legs to fit back there.

Its going to be great with the 6" over suspension kit.  Mine is going in the shop Monday.  It will have more ground clearance and more travel.

Re: Has anybody gotten theirs yet?

I am putting Fireball racing suspension.  My unit is the prototype.  This guy has done quads forever, and there are a ton of local and national Rhino's with his suspension.

Its going to be a 6 over kit (six inches per side.)  It will also increase the wheel base.

We went to the mountians this weekend with my RZR and a friend's Rhino.  The Rhino is stock with wheels and tires.  The Rhino corners better.  The RZR doesn't want to slide, and you really have to throw it into the corner and play with the throttle.  You can still fly into corners, it just takes more effort to turn it.  The RZR also drags going over rocks, but the suspension and tires will take care of that.  Other than that, the RZR was better.  In CA they put steep "water bars" in the trails to prevent erosion.  With the RZR you can gas it over them and the landing isn't too bad.  The guys in the Rhino called it the pogo stick.  One of the Rhino passengers got car sick from it.

Anyways, they are both great machines.  The Rhino is much more multi purpose as far as work and play, or converting it to 4 seater.  The RZR is faster, has better seats, better ergonomics and is a better platform to modify for sport uses.

Just my opinions after 20 hrs of operation.
