What RPM should an 08 razr idle at? Mine is idling at about 900rpm's. How do you adjust it?

I dont know much about the RZR but.........................

It should say how and what to set it at in the owners manual.
Most manuals give the factory settings.

It should be around 1150 rpm. It requires a special tool to adjust the throttle blade and may require you to adjust the tps sensor as well...

What ever happened to just a simple screw that you could turn with your fingers. sometimes technology messes things up more than it helps.

It is there way to make you take it to them to be fixed. One can be made but you need to be a little skilled in metal fabrication.

I did some digging and found this I did around a year ago on the site.

This is what you are going to need to do, you are going to turn the key on and put the probe on the back of the TPS connector on the yellow wire with the red lead at the TPS connection with a multimeter, put the black lead to chassis ground, back out the idle screw until it does not make contact with the throttle blade, you will need the special driver from Polaris or you can make something that will work, the butterfly will be in its maximum closed position. You should get a reading of .528, if it is not loosen the TPS screws and rotate the TPS until the voltage is reached, when the right voltage is reached tighten the TPS screws and turn the idle screw in until you get a reading of .710 for the 2005 and .640 for the 2006, if you are running the SP ECU it will be .710 volts, this is the proper voltages for the throttle blade position at idle, it is a little hard to do but it is doable, lots of the polarises lose there adjustments for some reason and need to be checked for proper engine fueling, mine was off when I checked it when i upgraded it to the SP ECU and had to reset it.

Everything applies the same for the RZR except the voltages will be .735 adjusted.

I bet that tool needed to adjust the idle could be easly made out of a screwdriver. Cut the end off then grind a flat spot on one side.
Grind a little bit at a time and keep checking it as you go till it fits.

I am always cutting up or welding something to a tool to make it fit something else.
I have like 6 pairs of vise grips that have been revamped for something else. they make greate ground clamps for welding leads.

That is good but it is inverted the other way like a socket and not a screw driver. You would have to make the 1/4 moon from inside the the screw driver.
