A cdi box and exhaust is going to help. You are limited on the 450 since they are geared differently. Also, stick with stock or lighter tire and keep the 25" tire size.

Not sure you will ever get much "kick" out of the 450. CDI will help top speed and adjust the timing curve for slight power increase. Intake and exhaust will help it breath better and should give you a little power, but will probably make it tempromental like my 660.

I know more about rangers then rhinos but as fare as i know there is no chips for rhinos and only the CDI on the carburated models and a ECM on the EFI models. Even in the automotive world after around 1995 chips were eliminated due to the new computers that came out and now they re-flash or add a ECM intercept box that changes the programing instead. The 450 would have a much worse power to weight ratio then the 660 or 700 rhino so you would have to do a lot more to just make up for the difference in CCs. We have the same issue when people buy the ranger 500 instead of the ranger 700 or even the 800. They normally wish that they had gone with the bigger engine. As like the ranger 500 you would have to do the same stuff like a re cam and higher compression along with the CDI and exhaust. You can also have the head ported and the carb reworked but this will take mucho $$$ and you still would have a 450 :?: . Also when you do all this the they tend to get a little temperamental. It is what it is and if you are not happy with the power output then maybe down the road you can find a good buyer for the 450 and upgrade to the 700 efi model. Anyway good luck on whatever you decide .
