I want one!
Sweet video!! Thanks Jared! That was freakin scary! I wish I could have done more rides with the rally. Maybe next year.
Thanks for the compliments!
I really want to get some 30" tires from Jared, just wating a little to save some funds. The stock bighorns work great, just don't look as good as the big tires. The extra clearance will be nice too.
I finally finished my Cage, roof, and paint. I repainted all the fenders. It is a little darker than the factory blue with lots of pearl and metalic. The 4's sure look better with a new cage! Loven it! I also made a one off grill for it.
Let me know what you think!
Dang looks like I missed out on a great day! I was busy with wedding plans bla bla bla.... I mean Im excited to get hitched, but I sure wanted to go to the dunes with you guys!! Im itchen to go bad! Im lookin to go this weekend or next, and of course the weekend after that (Easter!)
I just got my cage and roof back from powder. I made it in a buddies shop. I dont have harnesses yet but I made the cage so I can use the stock seat belts if I want, then take them off and the mounts just look like gussets. It was nice to get back in a shop for a few days. I worked in a welding/fab shop for a few years. I kind of miss it. I really like how it turned out! Here are some pics.
Sorry about not inviting anyone. Some of my friends planned it all out and I decided to go at the last minute so I was in a hurry getting everything ready... I didnt have the maps or GPS so Im not exactly sure what trails we took. My same friends are planning a trek to St George from possibly Hobble Creek Canyon on October 17th. They are going to do it in one day. Anyone can go that wants, but Im not sure what the exact plan is. The tough part is getting someone to drive enough rigs and trailers to the end to pick everyone up. Ill post more details as they are planned.
Last week Some friend and I went on a 300 mile treck to Moab from Cedar Fort (South east from SLC). We called it the Ultimate Adventure! We had 3 Teryx's and a RZR. We didnt know exactly how we were going to get there so that made it more of an adventure. We trecked through 3 small towns and picked up maps on the way, (Gunnison, Castle Dale, Green River). I thought for sure we would get picked up by the Cops in the small towns but they didnt seem to care at all. We stayed on dirt roads and trails most of the way except for in small towns. We left Thursday afternoon and arrived in Gunnison around 9pm. We drove right to the Subway and ate. Then gassed up and headed into the Manti Lasal Mountains.
The Lasal mountains are awesome! I cant wait to go back to explore more trails. We camped 7 guys in one tent. Dont worry it was a big tent. The next morning we headed out through the Lasals and dropped down into the San Rafal Swells range. It was really cool to see the transition from mountains to sandstone cliffs and desert terrain. We stopped in Castle Dale on the way and ate Lunch. When we would tell people what we were doing they thought we were crazy but they were excited to help us get to our next town. It was pretty cool.
After Making it to Green River we knew we could make it to Moab. We found a Pipeline service road that was mostly straight but kind of up an down a lot. It was a fun road you could open it up on. This is where Jeremy trashed his teryx. He was in front of everyone so we didnt see it happen. He said he was hauling around 55+ when he went through a dip and it pitched him sidways then it was over. We figure he flipped about 3 and a half times. Rory was with him when it happend. Jeremy had a headache, and rory was fine. The teryx was trashed as you can see from the pics. We had to change 2 tires and tow him to the closest road, I95 about 15 miles from Moab. We had a friend driving a trailer down with my truck on it so we loaded mine and his up and drove into moab. The other 2 guys made it the rest of the way.
The Machines:
Jeremys Teryx:
Custom lowered seats and cage. His is the one in the back of the truck. Unfortunatley we did not get very many pictures of it before he totaled it. The sad thing is Jeremy and Rory got there cages and roofs powder coated the day we left and jeremys only lasted about a day before it was totaled.
My Teryx:
The Black teryx on the front of the trailer.
Ryan's RZR: Pretty much stock with a nice stereo.
Rory's Teryx: Also has Lowered Seats and Cage with a Ton of Cool Stuff
Sweet Vids Jared! I got a couple from Dallas. The one ryan posted and this one.

I may have an extra spot reserved at the OK RV park. Please let me know if anyone wants it. I am going to release it this weekend if nobody needs it. Thanks. Oh yeah..... IM STOKED FOR THE RALLY!!!!
Who's going?? Im pretty sure Me, Dave, and Josh are going. Anyone else?
I dont know if they make it in black, but I have thought about painting it black. I think it would look really good! Just tired of working on it for now.
Im guessing I dropped about 75lbs total with the bed and front bumper off. Thats including all the extra cage I put back on.
I dont really have much plans for it right now. I would love to do seats, Harnesses, and long travel, but Im done spending money on it for now.
The motor kit really made a difference! I put 11:1 pistons, Cams, and a spring kit. Should run with any RZR now.
Im feeling really good. I feel like I would be fine to go riding this weekend, but Im gonna wait til next at the earliest. I just need to take it easy for a little while.
