Cool vid Brad. It's good to see Bob's roll again.   lol

It was definatly quite the ride. I'm usually in a lot more control than that. I think the problem there was I did make that section 2 weeks earlier (one shot, with no help). It was the perfect line (and of coarse a whole lot of luck). This time I just think I had a little to much confidence going on. Oh well......ready to try it again next year.

Bob, you definately made the video exciting!  big_smile

I will get you all my video of the Hide racing Jared. If I have time I will post a preview.

Its up.

Sorry guys can't say. Sworn to secrecy.  But when they DVD of Can-Am vs the world comes out look for my mug.

Dontcha think having someone there that can put on a show would be helpful?  Bwaa haa ha!

I think they like showing the shiny side.

Ouch!  lol  There are some of us that want to see how far you can go... and how it will survive a roll  big_smile

#395 Re: The X Spot » CAN-AM COMMANDER » 2010-06-08 15:37:26

I have a few reservations... but I think I want one too! I wish it had more suspension... but I am sure the aftermarket will be all over it. Holz setup likely pricey. I am very surprised the prices are competative. I have ridden a lot of BRP products (Ski-doo's, Can Am bikes, PWC's) and think they are all top notch. Owned a Sea Doo XP limted that was absolutlely awesome. I will be looking for a chance to drive one for final thoughts. Any opinions on handling Troy? (or do we need to wait for the write up  wink ) I think the rear suspension looks great - and makes some room for a funky bed  tongue  I am very impressed with a few things - Electrical systems (especially higher output), intakes for engine and CVT seem to be well thought out and high. Not sure about the electronic accelerator... I guess I am just old school and like to know I have mechanical linkage ( aaahhhh Toyota  lol ).

#396 Re: Goin' Riding... Who's with Me? » National ATV jamboree in Fillmore » 2010-06-04 11:04:20

RANGERDALEXP has a point - not just Utah guys either... be more specific. Where the hell is "Bumrush Trail" ???  lol  Well it's over there by "Sissy Point" of course roll  At lease nearby city, and State - country, etc. for you international guys/girls  8)

chournos - I am holding out for UTV jamb (Marysvale, Utah - USA  tongue ) too!
I would like to get up American Fork Canyon (Utah) soon. Just a Saturday ride, if anyone is interested we can go find the snow level  big_smile

#397 Re: Events, Rallies, & Races » Rally on the Rocks - video » 2010-06-04 10:53:15

chournos - so you got the 4? Did you you get rid of the ranger? I am still debating on putting anymore money into the Rhino - leaning towards selling it. The SuperATV long travel  (+5"_) is a great price, they will use the stock shocks, and have some decent LT shocks available for about $800  -Jared with Ruthless Motorsports could probably answer more questions than I (he is a dealer). I think the whole setup with shocks is a little over $2k. BTW - your family made for some great footage  wink  Look foward to riding with you again.

coreshot - I will try and post up some of the hide racing footage (Jared has it for the DVD), a little busy right now but I will see what I can do.

Got through my footage last weekend, and about 1/2 a youtube vid assembled. Will try and finish this weekend after the dunes. Jared I will bring a disk with me to the dunes. BTW, may stop by on my way backfrom Phoenix - need a sand flag and mount for my Sisters machine for Sat.

You can stay in my trailer Dave  lol  No, bathroom, shower, beds, kitchen, tunes, tv or ??? It does have a ramp door, roof vents and tie downs  wink

Got the Rhino running great Sat.... don't ask  :?  OK - Float out of adjustment, spark plug wire cap loose on plug. Once that was fixed it was fairly easy to dial in jetting  roll  Son and fam should be happier this trip. Will plan on White Sands on Sat. morning about 10am-plan to invade zrated and Fastrax camps  tongue
