Excellent post and great work!
I am only worried, though, about voiding the warranty. And, of all the toys and cars I've ever owned, this is the one warranty I don't want to void!!!

No way would this void the warranty. It has a dual filter system (much better than stock) and I installed the new 09 flex boot to the TB and mounted it to the engine/tranny so the boot wont pull off.

It doesn't matter if it's better. ANY non-Polaris mod will void the warranty. I'd bet my wife on it

Any modification outside the designs not approved by Polaris will void the warranty, The only exceptions is other brands of oils and filters that meet there specifications with an SAE or API services tagging, This is protected by a federal law called the Magnuson-Moss act, But any modifications to electrical like lighting and adding a stereo and drive train and suspension modifications or performance improvements that modify power output not approved by the manufacture can void the warranty, so if anyone is concerned about warranties you need to leave you units stock unless you know the dealer real well, They can chose to overlook things :!: .

I would say "stock" and any of the "Pure Polaris Accessories" are okay (ie: stereo, rock sliders, any of the Polaris add-ons).

I had issues with dust going by the UMP filter my dealer suggested putting on the RZR. I took it in and had them do a leak down test before I made any mods to the Intake. They are well aware of the issues with the stock system. I dont forsee any problems if a warrenty issue arises as they have been real good up to this point.

Like I said, It is really how good the dealer is and what they will over look, As long as Polaris does not look over the dealers shoulders the dealers get paid anyway, I know that with the automotive field some manufactures give bonuses to dealers to find after market performance upgrades on vehicles to get out of warranty issues  .
