UTAH AUGUST RIDE INFO!

We have been talking about doing a ride sometime in August in another thread and since it was getting quite long I thought I would start a new one detailed to this August ride.

Here is my thoughts and info.

I just learned that I need to be involved with putting on a Side X Side race/rock course for the Xtreme Off-Road Show in Manti that is to be held on August 7th. This is an all day event which I hope I can get all of you to attend. Not just to watch but to race in. It is going to be cool! Trust me!

So... My thoughts are scatered all over the place because I am not sure what the rest of you are able to do.

I can ride any time between Aug 4th-11th. After you all chime in when you are avail we can plan rides arround the Xtreme Off-Road Show on Sat allowing us to be in the off-road show.

Please leave August 28th open. This is the Take Back Utah Rally and Parade. I would love to see a large turnout from the sidexside community.

We are also looking for volunteers and donations of course

might be able to get over there for the show but not take back utah. just depends with work. got alot of stuff going right now....

I can make anything work if we get it set in stone. I really need to ride instead of admiring how good the Rzr4 looks in the garage.

Sounds like a great weekend but my RZR is having issues right now. The last mile on the dirt road back from the hangin tree ride the engine started acting up. It was loading up, backfiring and had no power and the turbo was not kicking in. All of a sudden it cleared up and rand just fine. I took it out saturday for the first time since then and its really running ruff. Now power, backfiring, no turbo and max RPS's are about 3400. Not good!!! On top of all this I am having steering issue again with the bushing in the rack and pinion popping out again. I am going to try and get it up to Chris this week (if he has time) and see if he can look at it. If I can get it fixed, I would to come down, it sounds like it would be a fun time.

That is not good news Lynn! I hope Chris can get you back on the trail real quick. We have a lot of ridding to do! Keep me posted.

Chris welded the sleeve in place for me so that is fixed. I think I might have got some water in the electronic module that runs the turbo somehow coming back down from the Hangin tree ride. I am going to work on it tomorrow and see if its just a simple pull the connectors apart, blow them out, add dialectic grease and put it back together kind of a fix. If not I am going to have to get Trey or Chris at MCX on the line and see where to go next. If I can get it running decent I am thinking of coming down next weekend. Is there any place close by to stay in my 5th wheel?
