Re: RZR Audio

These pics I wanted to share of my install of the Pioneer amplifier, SSV pods and a pair of Infinity Marine 6x9 speakers.

The pods are available from Ruthless motorsports! big_smile

Re: RZR Audio

I wish I had done that with my Amp. I put mine under the dash, and I'm nervous about washing my RZR already....

Re: RZR Audio

I can't hear the engine at all now, half the volume is plenty. I have the gains almost all the way down with plenty of power for a future sub or rear speakers. The rhino it didn't matter how loud, the engine won.

Re: RZR Audio

So I see alll of these pics of these cool sytems. However do yall not have power issues running these? We have two new rzr s and have drained the batts on both of them playing radio with no amp much less subs like I see on some pics.

Are yall perfroming mods to batts or what?

below is what we currently have on ours.

Re: RZR Audio

There are many different ways to be able to handle the bigger systems. The two most common are: One, is you can upgrade the stock battery. Two, is add a dual battery system. There are different ways to do this as well but I suggest a system that allows your main (starting) battery to always have enough battery to "start" your ride. These type of systems also charge the main battery first and when it is charged your secondary battery charges. It is always a good idea if you are running a big system to trickle charge both batts when possable.

Re: RZR Audio

Also keep in mind that your RZR is not chrging your battery untill over 3k rpm. So putting around is not going to charge your battery.

Re: RZR Audio

You also need to be running a class "d" amp. They use almost all their power consumption into amplified sound vs the class a or ab amps that have numerous filters for gaining better sound but also create around 25% of the power to sound. A class d will not get as hot either.
