Never thought I would have to say this, We are on the fence and it is not looking real good. I'll try and post up as soon as we know if we are in or not. If we can come then we will be there on friday. Probably leave monday to head home.

We are leaving tomorrow (Wednesday), depending on weather should be ready to ride Thursday morning. If the storm coming through tonight casts snow over Donner Summit we might be slower getting there.

Any idea what trail the group will be running Thursday if we get in late?

Happy to see you are coming Larry and Shannon! Looking forward to seeing the Commander in action. Planning Hells on Fri, and Poison Spider/Golden Spike Sat. Thursday is open. I will arrive 9pm tomarrow night. Think about it and we can decide after talking to everyone.

It is snowing in Marysvale right now (wed 9:30am) and as you know these storms tend to move west to east in Utah.
It is not a big storm, just light snow and I expect it will accumulate an inch or two and dissapear.

Just plan on the possibility of a snow ride in Moab by Thursday / Friday.
The weather forecasts says 30-60% chance of precip in Moab on Thursday but this is moving very slow
and I can see it dragging in to Friday.

Personally I love a little snow in Moab, makes spectacular photos and video.

Guys,

It has been snowing in Marysvale, which is due west of Moab.
The storms that leave here go to Moab straight as an arrow.

The good news is that it has stopped already, just a skif.

Just thought you might want to come prepared so nobody
is caught without the right gear.
