Re: St. George and area

Thanks: Brad & Lynn. Kind of thought Superbowl weekend might not work out, but like I said I'm open to interest and dates. The weekend of the 17th might be a good weekend as the following Monday is Presidents day and some people and kids have off.  ronk

Re: St. George and area

Keep me informed.  I would really like to get out around that time and keep wanting to ride more areas down there. Might be doing it alone pending on everyone's schedule at home.

Re: St. George and area

Speaking of riding in the St. George area, February 25th is the date for the Rhino Rally this year.  The Rhino Rally has nothing to do with Yamaha Rhino's; it is a motorcycle desert race hosted by the Wizards MC.  Warner Valley and the desert south of Warner Valley, in Arizona, will be closed to recreational riding that day, for the desert race.  Just letting you know so you can plan your trip a little better.  Have fun.

Re: St. George and area

Lets meet at Lanse's bed n breakfast  lol  wink
I am not sure if I will be staying with Mother-in-Law  roll  or at hotel. I will keep you informed Ron, we can meet somewhere in town and you can follow me to trailhead. Have you booked a hotel? I stayed at Americas Best Value last time, cheap, parking good, but hotel only OK.

Re: St. George and area

Sounds good Brad. A heads up to others, the lodging is filing up fast Fri. and Sat. is mostly filled up. We had to make a reservation in Hurricane.(Days Inn)  A little inconvienient but the rate wasn't to bad.    ronk

Re: St. George and area

I will talk to Chournos about ride plans and post something. Looks like I will avoid the crowded hotels, save some money and stay with my Mother-in-Law  roll

Re: St. George and area

Linda and I have decided we need a retreat from the snow and are planning on making the trip down and joining up with you all if that's ok.
We will drive down Friday the 17th and plan on spending a week.
