Re: Fox front air ride shocks

Polaris Part # 2877060. Does anyone have these? Are you supposed to take the springs off your stock shocks and put them on these? They look like they have an adjustable preload ring and the two rings on the left in the pic would be the bottom spring capture. I want these because with my family of 5 even with the shocks on the outer mount and stiffest setting I still bottom out alot. And of course my bumpstops are gone. Just wondering how they ride I would like to be able to adjust for a full crew bombing around the dunes or my wife just taking a cruise to go pick up my daughter from school because right now on the stiffest setting it beats you up when just driving easy.

Re: Fox front air ride shocks

Don't waste your money on those.
If you want to do it right, get the Legend Air suspension system.
It comes with an on board compressor & the ability to adjust on the fly for whatever load you have in your rig.

I had the same problem with Brutus a year ago. Even on the stiffest setting, the factory suspension would bottom out.
Now I have all the adjustability in the world.

Get with Jared at Ruthless Motorsports. They are on this site, and I believe they still have that special pricing on the Legend air.

Re: Fox front air ride shocks

But my problem is only with the front. My back shocks are on the outer mount but the softest setting and they are still stiffer than I need. So for $500 I can solve my problem and save $1500 and I'm fine with it being a manual pump. Even though the legend system would be nice, I can't afford it. I guess what I was looking for more was if anybody has used these to see how they ride/work and if I do swap my springs or might have to get longer ones or don't use any at all like some air shocks.

P.S.  That's a nice ride.

Have you considered the Dragonfire Elka shocks?
