Re: Moab in November....now

What are we planning on running? My vote is for the toughest stuff they got, like Pritchett level stuff.

Here are my thoughts.

The first ride Friday needs to be a ride that we can check everyones level of riding. There are several people going that have never been to Moab before. After that first ride we can adjust the different rides as needed. You may have to pass the cameras off to someone else for the tuff trails while your on the super easy trails Chris.  wink

Re: Moab in November....now

Who's the funny guy? I had to take my RZR to a shop today to get put back together. It's in a million pieces...I'll be on all the hardcore stuff, trust me. I might ask for a strap, but that's because of my age! smile So, my vote then would be Poisen Spider Mesa all the way north as people want to go, turn around and come back. It's not too hard, and the harder stuff is closer to the north, it's beautiful, and by the time we get to the harder stuff everyone will be in their grooves. Just my thoughts...

Re: Moab in November....now

Whats the scoop on your RZR Chris? What all has been done to it? Any pix? Fill us in man!

Poisen Spider Mesa would be fine with me to start off with. Everyone should be alright there.  big_smile

It's basically race legal stuff, so fuel cell, long travel, cage, doors, some motor work, clutching, tires/wheels, etc. smile It will be the first time I've ever driven a long travel anything on the rocks, so I'm really looking forward to it. The only thing I'm worried about is it's setup for racing, so it might be stiffer than I'd like, but the stability has to be awesome. I'm gonna try to run less than 4 psi of air too, to really test out the Staun Internal Beadlocks. No pics yet, but hopefully out there we'll get a ton.

If other people have ideas about what to run, I'm open to pretty much whatever as long as it's hard! smile

I've invited him to come, but I'm not sure yet. Dude, his Rhino is sick on the rocks. His suspension is so freakin' plush, but he's never had it in Moab like that, so it should be interesting if he comes. I bet it does really well.

Damn, you boys are making me jealous!  Wish I could go, but I've got too much work to do.
The BUS has been getting some love though, I got a roof basket and I'm installing some EDGE LED light bars this weekend.  It gets dark up in the Julian holler ya know!
Have fun boys!!!

If I can lead on Poison Spider/Spike I'll show you the best part.  90% miss it.

Scared Brandon Schueller, he was trying to make me drive his RZR off the top.
It'll get those sphincter muscles in shape.
