Nice pix Ryan! That was quite a hole you were in!   I would still like to ride up there one day.

Everything good for Moab?

Looks like you found the mud too Dave! The new tires look great.

"UTV Rally 1 and 2 UNFORGOTTEN" video will be up on the web today. For those that have not been to Moab it will give you an idea of what you can look forward to. The entire video is still pictures from Moab put together.

Re: Moab in November....now

Less than 2 weeks to the Moab ride. Who is going to be coordinating rides, times, meeting places, etc.?? It would be nice to have some kind of basic agenda for each day. Not that everyone has to follow it, but at these there would be some sort of schedule in place. I am sure there are some of you going that have been to Moab several times and know the logistics of each ride (ride time, difficuliuty, trickey spots, etc). I myself have only been there one time and have only been on 3 rides (Hell's revenge, Poisen Spider & Fins and things) and would welcome imput from others on the logistics of other rides.
Sounds like there is going to be a pretty good group of people going down for a great weekend. A little organization will go a long way to make it even better. Just my two bits!!!
Lynn
PS - i will know tomorrow for sure, but I am planning on coming down to Moab Thursday nite.

Re: Moab in November....now

looks like we have another event on our weekend:

http://www.discovermoab.com/calendar.htm

November 14-15 Annual Bighorn Sheep Festival
A chance to view desert bighorn sheep in sunny southeastern Utah awaits as the Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) hosts its annual Moab Bighorn Sheep Festival. The event is free, and people of all ages are invited to attend. Sheep watchers are encouraged to bring binoculars or a spotting scope along with snacks, beverages and a camera. DWR biologists will guide participants to locations where bighorns have been recently observed. The biologists will have extra spotting scopes and binoculars for people to use. They'll also have several large four-wheel drive vehicles for those who don't have the type of vehicle needed to reach the areas where the sheep are. The festival begins on Friday evening in the Moab Information Center (7:00pm), located at the corner of Center and Main. DWR will present a program on bighorn sheep ecology and their life history. The following morning (8:00 am) participants will gather again at the Moab Information Center where they will split into groups and go in search of bighorn sheep. A DWR wildlife biologist will guide each caravan of vehicles. All of the parties will be in radio contact with each other, so everyone can be advised as soon as sheep are spotted. Those who drive their own vehicle can leave the group at any time. For those who ride with DWR biologists, the field trips generally finish by noon or early afternoon. For more information call 435-613-3707.
