Re: Moab in November....now

Do any of you going to Moab with a RZR disconnect the sway bar for more suspension articulation? I am in the process of replacing the bump stops on my front stock shocks and figure this would be the ideal time to remove the sway bar connection rods. Thoughts Pro or Con?????????

Re: Moab in November....now

I'd definitely get rid of your front swaybar all together for all conditions. It's way better without it. For Moab, where it's continual rock climbing and rarely any high speed stuff, I'd also disconnect the rear swaybar. After doing so, I'd raise the shocks to the highest preload, as well, and then you'll have the ultimate stock setup for a RZR without a doubt. I did this in Moab last year and the difference in traction and the reduction in wheel lifting was insane.

Re: Moab in November....now

I'll be running by long travel RZR without the rear swaybar, as well, and I think everyone with the RZR S would enjoy it more with their rear one disconnected, as well, but that's just me.

Re: Moab in November....now

Thanks guys, looks like I definitely will disconnect the front sway bar. I'll see how Friday goes before messing with the back one. How about running taller tires? I have a set of 28's I was thinking of throwing on. Any Issues with being to high or tippy?

Re: Moab in November....now

Think I should throw the wheel spacers back on with the aftermarket wheels on the rhino?

I would like the idea of taking trails that are challenging but I don't want to spend a day to move two miles of trail too. Give me lots to see and some challenges. Hells revenge was fun and moab rim too. I would like to see more hells revenge Style so I can have a solid ride to take home.

Re: Moab in November....now

I would run the 28's!!!!!

since you bought them from me haha

but no really it will give you extra ground clerance and make it alot better.  it wont make it to tippy.  I got pretty nuts with thoose on down in moab with the spacers I also sold you.  you wont make it tippy  and as stated above i would bump the preload up to max!!

Re: Moab in November....now

Dave is right. The 28's will help with ground clearance which is nice to have and if you have spacers run them too.  big_smile  You will be good to go!

Re: Moab in November....now

Moab sounds like fun but it is just to fare for me, As for the front way bar, The RZR-s does not come with one from the factory and should not be a problem on a standard RZR unless you road race one.
