Re: WERE IN MOAB!!!

Okay so I have checked into my hotel in Austin TX and the bed is just as hard as the Super 8 in Moab.

And I can't see any ROCKS anywhere.

I want a do-over.

Texas? What are you doing clear over there?  We finally pulled in to Santa Maria at 12:40 am this morning. 14 hours to get home.  Lots of fun had this weekend with everyone  big_smile  Met a few new faces that I am sure we will see again in May  wink  I haven't got a chance to have a " face to face" with the carb guy  I can recommend the local yamaha dealer for carb work  lol

Re: WERE IN MOAB!!!

Well I was pulling out of Denny's parking lot and went right instead of left....

Talk about both ends of the spectrum.  Yesterday I'm in the coolest place on earth with awesome people and today I'm in Texas with quite literally the worlds biggest collection of uber geeks at SuperComputing '08.  Anyone want to talk about parallel processing?

Here's what happens when you take an in-experienced driver on Pritchet Canyon:

I'll eventually get to the videos as I get time.

Re: WERE IN MOAB!!!

Yeah, it is by far my favorite trail I've done there so far. I want to do behind the rocks sometime too. Other than that, I think we've run all the hardest trails out there now...I guess we need to hit BFE next, huh! smile

Come West and I'll take you through the Rubicon for a warm up, then introduce you to the Fordyce, most of the trail is like Rocker Knocker

Re: WERE IN MOAB!!!

What cities are closest to Rubicon and Fordyce? I'd love to run those trails.

Re: WERE IN MOAB!!!

Both are within 90 minutes of Sacramento or Reno. The Rubicon can be run from either the Tahoe or Georgetown side, Fordyce starts just off of I-80 near Donner Summit

Re: WERE IN MOAB!!!

Only 12 hours away. I wonder what else we could run around there that would be good at the same time?
