This is as about as late as we can get through, and only because our weather has been pretty mild. Fordyce has 4 creek crossing and getting through there is dependent on flows out of the lake. PG&E controls the flows and uses it as part of their hydroelectric system. Fall is usually the best time to get through as the lake is getting low and snow hasn't hit. Once we get any snow in the Sierras both trails are impassable until Spring

Yep,
It was a faulty head gasket from the new engine.
The dealer replaced it on Monday, No charge.
They ROCK!
I sure am glad I didn't try and take it on Hells Revenge Saturday.
