Re: Sand Holow trip pics

well we had another awesome trip

and once again i broke my rzr the first day.  i bent a tie rod doing nothing major, we straightened it and then went out and took it easy and bent it again doing nothing hard.  made it 2/3 of the day then we limped back to the trailer.

the next morning we sleeved the tierod with a plumbing pipe and we where good to go.

time for some pics.

Re: Sand Holow trip pics

I'm envious.  Looks like a really fun time.  Sand Hollow is a great place...even greater with the right people around.  Hope you follow you all there next year.
Until then, who's going on the Utah sXs Group ride in April?  (See Utah sXs group ride in the 'events, rallies and races' index)  I believe it starts around the Vernon area, going south to Cherry Creek and loops back...about 75 mi or so.  While this isn't that really nice red sand, I think it would still be a great get away.  It would also be really nice to meet all of you.

Re: Sand Holow trip pics

WHAT A GREAT TRIP! The weather was great, the food was great, the riding was awesome! I am already wanting to go back.  big_smile  This weekend will be over 60 deg. Who wants to go?!?

I want to thank "ranger" David for showing us around. I look forward to riding with you again.

The "CRACK" was a blast. I knew that it could be done!

A thanks to Nathan for taking a ton of pictures! I will also be adding to what RMD has put up along with a video of the weekend.

It was nice to ride with everyone again and it was great to finally meet you as well Joe.

Re: Sand Holow trip pics

The state park is nice. Unless you need hookups you can rough it out in the sand, we usually do. They don't allow you to ride atv's from the normal campground that has hookups. Last I heard they was looking at hookup sights on the opposite side of the resevoir where most of the riding is done.
I haven't been down there for over a year now so I don't know the status however.

Are we camping yet?

Re: Sand Holow trip pics

Those pic's looked awesome. I am looking forward to trying some difficult trails very soon to see just how good the SxS is off road.
