Re: Marysvalle Utah July 24th

I found the one I was thinking of. It is in august.

Just to put on your calendar for August 2009, there will be a UTV ride the 13-15 on the Paiute Trail in Marysvale, Utah. Lizzie and Charlies RV is the base camp, it is their first attempt, and we ought to try and set an example. If you haven't ever been on the Paiute Trail, it is very scenic, and a lot of fun. Not as technical as Moab, but lots and lots of miles of trails.
I know it's a little early, but so far it hasn't had a lot of hype, and didn't want others to miss the chance. Will keep you posted.

Re: Marysvalle Utah July 24th

I love that place. Since the new owners took over the campground it doesn't have the atmosphere it once had. Now there are many more places to stay around there too but still like the personal touches of the "rose Ranch" park.

I have been going almost every year to Marysvale and still haven't seen it all yet. big_smile

We are staying at Rose Ranch Resort (very nice and out of the way - close to town)

http://roseranchresort.com/

I have a cabin and Brad and Ryan have an RV spot right next to it  big_smile  (Ryan reserved 2 more RV spots - you will have to talk to him to see if they are still available). We will check in Tuesday July 21st and check out Sunday the 26th. Will be riding every day except the 24th - will check out the parade (I think it takes about 2 minutes  lol  wink ) and maybe take a shorter ride that day. Last year we had a lot of fun. Found plenty of scenery, old mines, snow, wildlife, etc. (oh, and water crossings  )

Re: Marysvalle Utah July 24th

You will miss out on some of Utah's most scenic riding! I do have two RV spots being held for a few weeks if anyone is interested. Last year we was catered with a FREE all-you-can-eat rib, chicken and brisket dinner with everything and dessert. Only thing missing was a massage. The pioneer day parade is one of the shortest but fun parades that even the manliest (like me!) can stand up too. There are many other places to stay and Marysvale itself closes by 8 pm each night and is the center of the Paiute trail system.

Let Redman give you the full Monte of this town! wink

For those that haven't riden or camped with Ryan, Badley and their families, you're missing out on some really good times.  Super good people and great riding.  If you have a good attitude and personality and want to be around other fun loving people to have a great time, you should take Ryan up on one of the two spots left and come along.

Re: Marysvalle Utah July 24th

Hey newer member here, the Marysvale thing sounds like a blast, beautiful area. Two weeks ago I got another new hip so I am just barely getting around., maybe by then I will be "race ready". I am going to see if my wife and I can make it. Tell you what, the best treatment for hip replacement is a Rzr ride!!

Re: Marysvalle Utah July 24th

Keep in touch if your interested. I have a couple RV spots left but for only two more weeks. This place is busy most of the summer since it is the "heart" of the Paiute trail.

You can PM me if you want more info.
