Re: Marysvalle Utah July 24th

Hey newer member here, the Marysvale thing sounds like a blast, beautiful area. Two weeks ago I got another new hip so I am just barely getting around., maybe by then I will be "race ready". I am going to see if my wife and I can make it. Tell you what, the best treatment for hip replacement is a Rzr ride!!

Is that you Ranger Dave? A trip on the Piute would be great therapy - hope you can work it out  big_smile

Re: Marysvalle Utah July 24th

Yup its me, I agree it will be great therapy. my wife an I went to Sand Hollow today and spent the day in the RZR with HER driving. She loved it, decided its not such a bad thing after all. I have been in the RZR almost every day checking on the crew doing all the lambing this year. It was good to go to the dunes and play in the sand and the rocks. We should kno our schedules in a week or to. I am going to Moab to teach a class on the 3rd of June and think I might take my wife and the RZR and spend another day, anyone know a good half day or so ride that is not to technical to try around Moab?

Re: Marysvalle Utah July 24th

If I only had a half day an never been to Moab I would do Hells revenge.

Its not too technical but a blast to ride in a RZR.

There are some obstacles that are very technical but all have easy bypasses.

July21st - Sunday July 26th.

Not so good, I was hoping it was starting the 24th and running into the following week. I'm on shift the 22nd and 23rd, by the time I get there you'll be leaving

Re: Marysvalle Utah July 24th

Redman, you need to show us some new spots down there over the 24th. If not tell us where some are...scenic or old mines out of the norm.

Re: Marysvalle Utah July 24th

Lots of places to pitch a tent.
Just depends how far from town he wants to be.
Up near the miners park is a great place.

Planning to ride around the north end of Capital Reef Monday.

Bring some junk to decorate your rides and we'll be in the parade on the 24th

Re: Marysvalle Utah July 24th

Absolutely, the parade is wide open to all who want to participate.
Thats the great part about small towns, just join in and you are welcome.

You don't even have to decorate, just bring a bag of candy to toss to the kids
and your a hit.

Of course if you need a clown wig I can hook you up.  big_smile

Re: Marysvalle Utah July 24th

Is anyone else interested?

I have one rv hookup spot left that I have to release by the end of the week.

Parade is a good option if anyone wants to give us some promotional stuff to toss, Ruthless, xxx, or UTVcrap? roll

Re: Marysvalle Utah July 24th

Ryan I appreciate the offer for the spot, just no way I can get that time off.
Is anyone going to try and make the UTV Jam next month?
