The world of plastics!
I would like to take my whole machine apart and replace any moving part or heat related with either nylon or aluminum. What is scary is if it is in a 15k side x side it's in that new 60k truck too.
The more things that I replace the more things that I find.... it should be built like a tank by now.
The HCR kit is top notch. Very well built and will hold up to abuse. Stock ball joints hold up great but there are aftermarket options as well.
Install is very easy but you need to take your bed off which takes a few minutes.
There are a few different brands to choose from. I went with the JJ&A. They are available in raw aluminum, anodized BLUE, anodized RED or anodized ORANGE

What happens here is once the Polaris OEM plastic breather cover gets hot, it warps and lifts away from the OEM rubber seal in the span between the bolts. Tightening the bolts on the OEM plastic cover only makes the problem worse. Its nice there is a fix.
I replaced the rubber seal while I was at it.

This is more of a fix than anything since you can't see it unless your bed is off. 2 trips ago I noticed I was loosing a lot of oil and of course one of those famous polaris plastic parts failed on me.

Oh yeah, I'll be there with my new wife !!!!!
I'm calling you tomorrow!!! It will be great to meet her in Moab!
Well its time to get a few more things on the 'ol RZR...
Does sound fun... lets go Brad! ![]()
I saw the same thing with a Rhino questionaire years back :?
BTW Dale. I thought the RZR4 was a waste too... until I see them rockcrawling. With the added length the seem unstoppable on steep climbs. They are still at a disadvantage (compared to the S) at turning radias and belly clearance, but nothing a 3 (or 6
) point turn and a good skid won't cure. They are tight for seating in the back, but mutch better for hauling kids than a converted Rhino or Teryx. The Ranger will flip over backwards way too soon - but a Ranger Crew built for crawling sounds intriguing
Word on the street is that you will see some ranger crews built for crawling at rally on the rocks this year. We will see how they do!
Welcome to the forum!
What color are the droplets?
I'm for sue there!
Man I love Moab!
Evidently, ATV and off-road riding is much more than just fun, it’s also good for your body and soul.
That’s the preliminary findings from a York University report.
The purpose of the research was to characterize the physiological demands of recreational off-road vehicle (ORV) riding under typical ORV riding conditions using recreation riders.
“This ground-breaking, first-ever comprehensive scientific probe of the fitness and health benefits of ATV and ORM recreational riding proves that riding creates sufficient opportunity to stimulate changes in aerobic fitness and falls within the physical activity guidelines of both Health Canada and the American College of Sports Medicine,” said Bob Ramsay, president of Canada’s Motorcycle & Moped Industry Council.
Study analysis of exercise intensity during riding revealed “approximately 14 percent of an ATV ride and 38 percent of an off-road motorcycle ride are within the intensity range required to achieve changes in aerobic fitness. Riding on a representative course also led to muscular fatigue, particularly in the upper body.”
Jamie Burr of York University’s Faculty of Health, which is conducting the study, said, “On the basis of the measured metabolic demands, evidence of muscular strength requirements, and the associated caloric expenditures with off-road vehicle riding, this alternative form of activity conforms to the recommended physical activity guidelines and can be effective for achieving beneficial changes in health and fitness.”

Info taken from UTV Weekly
I did a quick google search and it seems that there are a ton of different options to watch it for free. I have never used any of them so Im not much help as to which one is the best.
